Secure first, glass after
The first visit is about getting you trading. We clear the broken glass, board or sheet the opening and make it secure and weatherproof. The replacement pane is measured at the same time and fitted once it's made, so the disruption lands in one visit rather than three.
Shop glass is not house glass
Shopfront glazing is almost always toughened or laminated, because it's a public-facing pane at low level and the regulations are strict about it. Laminated is usually the better choice for a shop — if it's attacked, the interlayer holds the pane together and the opening stays covered rather than becoming a hole. We'll specify what the position actually needs.
Landlords, agents and insurers
