We know what's in the windows round here
Walsall's housing is a patchwork, and each part of it brings its own glazing job. The Victorian and Edwardian terraces near the centre often still have original timber sashes or early replacement uPVC that has done thirty years and is past its best. The big interwar semi estates that ring the town are full of bay windows, and a bay is the one place where a failed unit really shows. The post-war estates tend to have standard opening sizes, which makes a replacement unit straightforward.
