Who pays for the glass in a flat
It catches people out constantly. In a leasehold flat or maisonette the windows are often the responsibility of the freeholder or the management company rather than the leaseholder, and sometimes it is split — the glass one way, the frame the other. Can you replace glass in a first or second floor flat?
Usually, yes, and normally from inside. Where the size or the access means it cannot be, we will tell you before the visit rather than on the day.
