We come and measure
Free, with no call-out charge and no obligation. Glass is measured off the pane rather than the frame, and the specification is settled at that point rather than on fitting day.
Made safe if it needs it
Where an opening isn't secure the glass is cleared out of the frame and it's boarded properly, so the property is sound while the replacement is made up.
Fitted, and the frame stays
In the great majority of jobs the window, the hinges and the handles stay exactly where they are and only the glass changes. Nothing to make good afterwards.

Every era of housing, sometimes on one street
There is no single Birmingham window. You'll find Victorian and Edwardian terraces in Moseley and Kings Heath, vast interwar municipal estates across the outer ring, model housing at Bournville, 1960s blocks, and new-build apartments in and around the centre. Each brings a different job. Older terraces are mostly repairs and single unit swaps. Interwar semis are bays and leaded lights. Newer flats bring access considerations and often larger panes. It pays to look at the actual window rather than assume.
Shopfronts, offices and commercial units
A good part of our Birmingham work is commercial. Shopfront glass, office partitions and unit windows are bigger, heavier and usually toughened or laminated, and a broken one normally needs making safe the same day so the place can carry on trading. We board up, then measure and replace.
Misted and blown sealed units
The same job as anywhere and still the most common one. Cloudy glass means the seal has gone and moisture is trapped between the panes. The glass unit is replaced inside your existing frame.
Safety glass, and where it's required
In and beside doors, at low level, and in large panes, glass has to be toughened or laminated. Toughened breaks into thousands of blunt granules rather than long shards, which is exactly why it's specified. If you're not sure what's in yours, we'll tell you.

Yes, both, cut and made up to size. Where the location requires safety glass we'll specify it as standard.
